    Malindi
    Malindi is a coastal town in Kenya, located 120 km north of Mombasa. Home to about 120,000 people, it is renowned as a popular tourist destination, especially among Italians. Nearby attractions include the ruins of Gede and the Watamu and Malindi Marine National Parks. The town's history dates back to the 14th century when it thrived on the slave trade.
